So over the past 2 months my diet has been, basically, eat 2350 calories with 230ish/215ish/60ish. I've pretty much neglected time of the day except for seperating meals by 3 or so hours.

But I keep reading about how somethings are bad for pre workout and how somethings are bad after 7pm while some things are only good on an empty stomach and etc.

Anybody know of a knowledge base that explains, or anybody willing to explain, the 101 of the etiquite of time relative eating.

lol @2350 calories. On a couple of levels LOL. Can't help ya bro, but K for being the most anal calorie counter!

lol it is actually between 2200 - 2500 and varies quite often, so i averaged it. 2200+2500/2 = 2350 :)

#1 depends on your goals
#2 post goals
#3a I'd eat my arm off at 2300 cals, lol.
#3b What's your weight (stats)?

Goials are to get down to 195/200. Obviously in the middle of a cut. My weight is 212, height is 6'1.

And it isn't actually that hard. I guess I'm a strong willed person, but I don't get hungry anymore. I know I can't eat too much so it isn't hard to not eat much.

Ok...

I'll throw some generic basics that are good baseline to use, then tweak for your own personal preferences/body needs...

- Protein and Carbs, OR protein and fats, not both in the same meal

- Get Carb meals in early in the day

- Cut carb intake after your post workout full meal

- before bed fats are a must

- Sugar free "stuff" will make your dieting taste buds very happy, stock up on 'em.

- H20 all day... at your weight I'd say 1.5 gallons on average everyday

- Over eating almonds, peanuts, other good fats happen. Weigh them out and bag them prior to eating.

... i'm sure there's more, hope that helps :coffee:

How essential is this? I don't have many normal meals that don't include both?

and thanks! :)

I don't know.

It was something I've been told a few times by some diet gurus and people I respect greatly. That not only give advice, but live it and are very lean.
