Tilapia Prep Variations

Power Cord

New member
Does anyone have any good ways/variations of preparing tilapia? I'm always looking for new ways since I get burned out on same flavor after a while.

A couple of mine are:

* Small amount of salt + fresh pepper + paprika + dill weed (+ sometimes ground onion)
* Rolled in coconut + perhaps fresh pepper
* Rolled in crushed pecans (sometimes brushed with olive oil)
* Small amount of salt + fresh pepper (+ perhaps some garlic powder and/or ground onion)

Always looking for new prep variations so if you have any that would be cool. Thanks.

Do you buy them fresh or frozen? Every try any marinades?

Blackened is always amazing and also its tasty to use Montreal steak seasoning. Break the filets up in a low carb tortilla with some Pico de Gallo and avocado and toast it!

Yum, that actually sounds delicious, thanks...

I will buy both. Generally try to buy fresh but will also keep a bulk bag of frozen in the freezer. Can be quick and easy in a bind.
