Just wanted to reiterate one of the great things about this board - I'm in a hurry-up-and-wait mode on a some new contract work at the moment & I've completely lost my motivation to get out & hit the gym. This has been dragging for a few weeks now. I didn't even garbage down over the holidays. Just too lazy to get over to the gym.

I just spent the last 10 minutes reading through some posts & the blood started flowing again! Wohoo!

Very true Raina....

Now can someone please come kick my butt back into the gym & healthy eating again?? Hello?? Anyone??

hehehehe

DONE! It was great! Its always a double psych-up when you go back in after a short lazy-break & you still have good results - I could still do my splits (I have this thing about if I can't execute a decent splits, then I'm getting old...) and all my lifts were good.

Best of all, I did 3 nice sets of 65 lb skull crushers. As a result of training w/ a particular trainer (the same guy who helped me develop some awesome tendonitis), I couldn't do 25 lb skull crushers to save my life for 2 years. Back in Da Zone!

WOHOOOO!

.. the only problem with that first-day-back-amazingly-great-comeback, the next day isn't usually as impressive. The first day you've had the whole lazy-time to relax & recover, so you are fresh as daisy the day back. The next day, however, you sometimes are as fresh as a daisy picked a week earlier.

... so you trudge through day 2 and keep your eye on day 3!
