thoughts on farmers markets?

so I was driving down the road the other day to get to the lake to enjoy the weekend and I passed by a farmer’s market which is open every Sunday in the middle of the day.
I haven’t been there yet but I’m curious to try it this Sunday
none of the guys that I listen to on nutrition ever mentioned these farmers markets are these a gimmick or are they actually a good place where you can pick up Quality Meats and fruits and vegetables?

you can buy natty veggies there i would get it if you can at the farmers market

and they are mostly gimmicks at least in America

you'll find low quality fruits and vegetables there the best places to get high quality would be either going to a local Farm directly or going to a place like Whole Foods which has high quality produce

They can be great places to get fresh clean food

farmers markets can be a great place to find good produce but it's not necessarily great

a lot of times it's just cheap produce shipped in from other countries

the best place is a Farm Fresh location where you can pick

it's a great question for sure it just depends on who's selling that day

if you have a lot of things that grow in your area it can be a great place

just be careful if the produce has been out a long time you can get food poisoning

I'm a big fan of farmers markets just to walk around

It really depends on who is setting up there. There are some really good vendors but some really bad ones too. We had one get exposed close to me that was just going to grocery stores, buying low quality produce, and then showing up at the farmers market to sell it.

I rarely go to those. Off times u find they bring in products from outside your region abd state
