This metrosexual shit is really getting out of hand

On the local news last night there was a story about it... I dont understand where this shit is coming from...why is there this effort to make a new pseudo-sexual sub classification of men? I swear the feminist movement is playing a part in this...they love to change words to alter thought...


Anyway I think this whole craze is crap. Ghandi knows I find nothing wrong with efforting to look nice, but I'll be damned if I'm going to label myself something that sounds like Homo-Lite because of it.


BTW to note, by grooming I refer to taking serious care of skin and hair. Though I dont get manicures or any of that. And my hands are calloused as shit.

I dress in whatever fits me, which for the most part is basketball shorts and XXXXL t-shirts. :fro:
 
metrosexual isn't referring to sexual orientation. It is a subcategory of heterosexual but the fact that it has "sexual" as the suffix leaves some to believe that there are some gay connotations to it. I, for one, think the whole introduction of a special sexuality to embrace men who take care of themselves is absolute crap. I'm the most gay-knowledge filled straight guy u will ever encounter but even I would feel awkward being labeled metrosexual.

same here....just because you have fashion sense, and make a concious effort to look good doesn't warrant a label like that. I think it COULD be appropiate in some senses...but only in extremes.

things that are ok
- dressing well
- using pomade and limited hair products
-certain skin care products
-waxing eyebrows if you got jungle brows..but for god's sake, dont have them real small and make us all look like fags
-shaving excess bodyhair

crossing the line..
- pedicure, manicure
- highlights ..sorry it's not 90's anymore.
- wearing any sort of foundation

personally i incorporate lots of aspects of gay culture into my life but i still maintain alot of musculanity. if you can pull it off, do it..if you can't, find a new style
 
I am very clean, but I tend to let my facial hair grow, and sometimes let my hair grow out. But some things I do like are pedicures and manicures. It feels good and doesn't look gay at all.

I have stopped at some beauty places with girls for this... and also had it done at some beaches where people offer them for a minimal price. No big deal.

what ever happend to pretty boy? i do get my eyebrows cleaned up and other gay shit to get laid.....just to get in a chics pants and chics like clean cut guys, if not i would have a shaved head and wear xxl sweats all day and never shave either and smell like a caveman

Homosexual and heterosexual is related to your sexual preference... metrosexual makes no sense because it has nothing to do with a sexual preference at all, but just a particular look.
