The holidays are about enjoying yourself and celebrating with loved ones. If you are stressed about each morsel you put in your mouth, you lose a major part of the holidays. Our time with friends and family members are limited - you should enjoy them fully.
I had planned on maintaining my strict diet through the holidays, but then realized that I WANTED to have a few drinks with friends, enjoy Christmas cookies given to me, etc. I am strict so much of the year, why miss out now?
I'm with Gymgurl - as long as I 'maintain' within a couple pounds, who cares? I just make sure I keep up my workouts, and don't OVERindulge.
