I used to be so upset about clothing sizes now quite honestly I could give a fuck. I was actually in a shop in the mall with my 12 year old daughter and we are in nearly the same size. It isn't that I look 12. It is that she looks 16!! LOL
I tried on whatever was a bit too roomy for her and though they fit me, they made me look dumpy because I am extremely short-waisted (she will be a tall girl). I wasn't bothered by the fact that I didn't fit the pants right, but only commented on how the pants were obviously cut to fit someone with a different body type better. We were both trying on jeans that were anywhere from a size 0 up to a 7. The store was a junior store.
I wear men's jeans, children's and juniors. I could give a flying fuck about the tag. I try it on. If it fits to my liking and the price is right, I take it home. If not, then I put it back on the rack and think *phew* "I just saved some money!" LOL I think it will really save my female children from being screwed up in the head about their bodies by seeing me happy with my body - just dissatisfied with the clothing.
