Alright...today I went and had my body composition checked. This was the first time I have finally been able to have it done by means of dunk tank (Hydrostatic)!
Well, more like laying in a tricep push-up position on this metal rack in the tub, toes on top of rear bar so you are suspended in the water by your hands and toes. The rack is connected to a scale which is connected to the ceiling of the truck. The guy who was testing me was hell of cool, told me to blow all the air out as I lowered myself into the tub, face under water while blowing all air out (my little girl Sierra was sitting in front of me when I was doing this and laughing everytime I went under water...we were laughing!)...then he would yell "blow" and I would blow as hard as I could getting all air out of my lungs so my dody would float in the water on top of this scale...fat floats remember!
When I first got in the tub, Sierra said "he sinks like a rock!"...Aeron (testing technician) said "that's good!" She was laughing! So we did this 3 times to get 3 readings for the most accurate measurement...and let me just say I was blown away at the results (no pun intended!):

I honestly told him I thought I was goping to be around 12-13% or low teens...I got down under 10%, and with some weeks to spare...as I will be starting this cycle last week of August...just getting some priorities set, make sure everything is lined up, family is on board, and it is time for dad to get stage ready again!
I honestly would like to build up some lagging areas of my physique (legs always, calves, triceps, shoulders, upper chest...long muscles), when I post before photos in my log, you will see what I am talking about.
My goal is to walk on stage in July 2013 at:
220-225 lbs @ 2% bodyfat
So a decrease of 16.7 lbs of fat, and an increase in 16-21 lbs of LBM in 12 months. I can do this! I may have to run the break time inbetween cycles a little short, but I may be able to swing this shit!!!
I have had 2-2nd Place finishes at this competition I will compete in (2005 & 2007)...I want 1st and Overall!!! Even if I take it in the Masters Division, I want this for myself...and for my family!!! I want to show my little girl what you can do when you put your mind, heart, and soul into it...what you can achieve, as I always tell her " you can do whatever you put your mind to, and you can!!!"
So, you guys in for this ride with me? Are you going to keep on my ass and don't let me slack?? Don't let me get comfortable???
