The Protein Factory???

I just ordered 4lbs of Penta pro+2lbs of ion exchanged whey,the whey taste ok,but the penta pro taste like fucking quikcrete. I mean this shit actually taste like concrete mix.I think the just screwed up the flavor and gave me straight protien...My? is what do you guys think of this company,pretty decent? I know the prices are very reasonable...www.proteinfactory.com

Same thing happened to me!! I add a low fat flavored yogurt to mine and it helps a ton. If you dont care about gaining a little fat(offseason) then add something like a snapple to it.

Yea, they fucked my order up once, but when I got it straightened out by the manager, he gave me a discount. Be careful calling after hours.

I have used their penta-pro several times and it is actually one of my favorites, as a previous poster asked... did you remember to specify a flavoring and a sweetener? If you do not, they will just send it to you straight up and plain. I usually ask for vanilla, with splenda as a sweetener, and the taste is actually pretty good.

you should just scrap the whey and go milk & egg protein like they had back in the day it contains more amino acids and it doesnt bloat your stomach because its non dairy not like the crap they sell today.

i used to buy my protein from these guys but then i started wondering whats to stop them from putting whatever cheap mix in the plastic bags and labeling the box differently. in other words unless you are testing the batch they send you how do you know whats on the label is the same thing in the plastic bag? nothing against the company i just like some insurance....anyone got any ideas on this one?????

get big 27 --- Your argument doesn't make all that much sense because none of the supplemnt companies are regulated by the FDA.

I just ordered 5 pounds of the Whey combo which has hydrolyzed whey in it which is supposed to be real good. I also ordered 5 pounds of the Night time formula.

i don't trust Proteinfactory and we all know FDA has their head up their ass. They're not going to go order from proteinfactory and say, "Hey you are selling your $9 hydrolyzed whey to people when it's actually WPC that sells for $4. Give me a break, they're not going to do that. I just don't trust those guys.

I like the fact you can create your own product and as far as price difference to competitors, their marketing relies a lot on references and they ship in plastic bags to cut costs, it is more for people who dont want to spend 50 dollars for 3 pounds of freakin muscle tech or myoplex, all in my opion ridiculously over priced i have never had a problem w/them and enjoy the product

I have had thier night formula and some custom blends. Very good quality products. I get choc or vanilla with splenda as a sweetener. No probs here.

I never had problems, they are kick ass in my book.
quick turnaround, cheap and a variety that will keep you interested for some time. don't let one error be your basis. try this.. order a few pounds of maltodextrin and add it to your mixture tumble it ,stir it mix it well, it will add some decent flavor and improve the mixability of most any powder.end result will be a rather tasty, foamy health shake for that @ss.

just figure up how many pounds you have , figure 30-40% of that and order that much Malto.

The factory is decent- price is a little high and their quality is questionable. For a measely couple of bucks more, you could go with a major label. The fact that you can customize your blends is their biggest plus.
