Once in a while I'll take 1/2 mg. at night if I'm having difficulty sleeping...within 30 minutes I'm usually peacefull but damn it's difficult to get going the next morning.

Xanax doesn't do much for me besides make me forget stuff and make me fall asleep. I can take a few addies and drink some alcohol and be just fine. So can the gazillion other people who I've seen do it. I think a heart attack is highly unlikely. In the prescription info that comes with my scrip, they say to stay away from excess caffeine, but they don't stress the alcohol angle too much.

Xanax is quite an entertaining drug. I don't understand why everyone is hating on this guy for coming and expressing an opinion. He's not forcing anything on anyone, just giving some benefits of a prescription drug used for recreational purposes. God, I tried some of this again last night for the first time in a long time, and it was just as weird as I remember. Luckily, I was at home when the third bar kicked in because I don't remember shit. Slept like a baby, but I'm still a little "chilled" feeling. I guess a library is a good place to feel like that though. Freaking weird stuff man.

precursors to benzos and codones

Hi,

Well ya know how these drugs mentioned above, xanax, oxycodone, hydrocodone make ya feel good.

We ya know how they act on certain neurotransmitters, I was wondering if ya could take the precursors to the certain neurotransmitters, and create a partial effect.

for instance, taking the precursor to gaba, and then feeling a mild xanax feeling.

and for the codones, im guessing it opiod receptors... i dunno the precursors there.

anyway any thoughts on this?

i guess its similar to ppl taking 5-htp for a mild serotonin boost.
