My wife & I rented a car & did a tour in '83, Austria, Bavaria, Lichtenstein Switzerland.
Saw most of Ludwig's castle's. Highlight of my life. We were newlyweds, so all we did was bang & tour. I think we christened 3 or 4 of his castle's. Almost got caught once.
 
Photography is awesome. With the advent of digital photography, many more people jumped in the wagon, since now it is much more affordable. I still use a regualr camera for some settings, but for most, it is now only digital. I am getting ready to buy a Digital SLR and then the switch to digital will be complete

Valencia and Bilbao look worthwile to visit... did you like

Amazing. That building in Bilbao is the Guggenheim museum. Titanium exterior. The ones in Valencia are the Parque Oceanográfico...

maybe because I can connect with Spain via language, but the food and the women are beyond good... the beaches are OK for Europe but have nothing to do with the beaches I grew up with (Caribbean sea).

Nevertheless, Spain and Italy are always in my top list of recommendations

Good things.

Always heard about Spain's atmosphere and women exclusively. I'll be in Italy visiting one of my boys for Thanksgiving and he's asking me where I wanna go. Capri and Florence pops in my head.
