Walt Disney took inspiration from this castle for his Cinderella castle. It is in Bayern, about 2 hours away from Munich, one of the most famous German castles, though relatively new... Ludwig, the last Bayern Prince (and the one who built this masterpiece) drowned misteriously in one of the lakes nearby... he was gay, so rumor is that he was killed.

You have to see this place in winter, it is really like out of a fairy tale
