odds are there will be 1 3 or 5,000 payoff, anything else would be a statistical anomaly right? There is basically no way someone can win 17 weeks in a row if the odds are 50/50. Teach me!

it probably won't be a huge payoff. but it's fun to do and watch. I have done it for the last few years with a friend and it usually ends up with one guy having a few week's lead on the other, then a few weeks end up being a push and roll over to the next week and then the next week. Then you have one week worth about 4,000 and the winner of that one week takes over the lead.



Hammy - forgot to mention that we can also bet the over/unders. I won't bet them this week since you already made your picks.

the last couple years it has been ridiculous. you'll see as the season goes on, most of the time picking 2 out of 5 picks correct will get you the win in this thing.
 
in the bookie room today i picked 4 winners that didnt cover, now that pisses me off

lol. hey dude, we can all make excuses - that is how football goes. didn't watch the other games, but the Giants fumbled the fucking ball on what should have been a game winning or tying TD run. so shut up fatty.

they ended up getting it back and getting the td anyways so the fumble didnt make a difference

Yeah, I looked at the line a few days ago and could only come up with one game I felt really confident in (Pitt).

After hammy won the first week in a decisive manner, KB took advantage of the 2nd week push by winning 4 weeks straight. This week can either put another nail in hammy's coffin or get him right back in the game.

cincy -3 undefeated ats on the road this year, trends

I thought this was a pretty easy week. Had too many games to choose from. By my accounts, you need GB to cover in order for this week to push.

Don't forget about Thurs games this week. If you want them, bet em before kickoff and make your other bets Sun morning.
