Unless he was using prop throughout his test levels are probably still through the roof by now. That's why many advise to start PCT at least a week after the last jab, especially when using long estered test, deca, eq, tren enan, etc. Dont get me wrong, IGF is nothing short of a godsend, esp for PCT. But he surely isnt feeling the GH yet, not even close. I can understand the pumps from the IGF, but it does not increase strength, at least not as you're using it. So a lot of this is the placebo effect, as well as your buddy still having hi levels of AAS in his system.

As far as the decreased bf and increased vascularity, thats partly from the IGF and partly from him losing water from his cycle (assuming he's somewhat lean to begin with)

Well I use it pretty much year round alternating with slin one month on/one month off. I get the "typical" results of decreased body fat, increased pumps, increased vascularity, increased appetite, maintain most of my post cycle gains during PCT. Never run it along side GH as I use GH only for contest-prep, but I may in the near future. I've never gone over 60 mcg daily (my weight is anywhere between 240 and 285 when using IGF), but I might try the 100 mcg regimen that everyone seems to swear by. Then again, guys that have done both say that they dont notice anything different at 100 than they did at 40-60.

A very important point to make about IGF-1. Your gut (intestine) has the most igf-1 receptors as any site in the body. What you need to do is take the IGF-1 either pre or post-workout because after strenuous exercise IGF-1 recptors are up-regulated on muscle cells. If you pin IGF-1 in the AM like many guys do, your muscle cells have not up-regulated the receptors and the IGF-1 goes to your intestines. Keep doing that and before long you'll have a nice big Coleman gut. And guess what, that does not go away. Nothing worse than being 4% bf for a show and looking like you're about to give birth to twins.

He was using var and prop. He waited a week after the last jab before starting PCT. He has been on GH for 2iu's/day for about 6 months before he started PCT. So the 5iu's GH and 100mcg/day IGF is basically all he is running on..... I agree the loss of BF is from losing water from his cycle...

you still ate a high caloric diet during pct and actually became leaner? How do you train, stats, etc?
 
Yes. That's why IGF-1 is so well suited for PCT. You still have to eat clean, but you can keep your calories high (that is, above maintenance) and lose fat. The reason being IGF-1 crams the nutrients into your muscle cells and as it is synthesizing new muscle cells it used the nutrients for this process as well, which takes a great deal of cellular energy to accomplish. I train the same way during PCT as i do on cycle, which is very intense, very heavy. The only difference is that during PCT i cut down on the volume of my training to reduce excessive muscle breakdown. My stats at the moment are 5'10" 275 lbs. I don't think I look remotely close to this figure as I have very heavy joints and carry a lot of my weight in my lower body. However, a guy at my gym came up to me one day and asked me if I compete and the whole 9 and he actually guesed my weight which was at the time 270 so maybe that's just my bigorexia talking. I dont measure my bf% until a month out from a show, and even then it's just for shits and giggles. I go by mirror and measurements. Right now I'm cutting, chest is 53", arms 22 1/4", quads 30", waist 35". All measurements are relaxed. If I do a rear lat spread I can get to around 59-60" but nodoby measures like that.
 
And nolva/hcg does the same thing...so even if your natty levels are low, you are in the clear during pct....with that combo??

Not really sure what you're asking. But a great (albeit advanced) PCT would consist of nolva, hcg, clen, t3, GH plus/minus IGF-1. But it's still important to train with your head and not over it during PCT. It's a time where your body is very prone to over-training as your test levels recover.
