Tough one, Anderson Silva/Jon Jones for MMA (Jon Jones will be the clear winner over the coming years) and Tyson (in his prime) or Mayweather. Early Tysons footwork and combos were awesome, but later in his career he just made a mess of things.

I dunno about Bruce Lee never fighting, but I was told by some wing tsun instructors that he was a white belt pretty much when he first began training. He never trained long enough to learn the second form stuff. So any gong fu, 1 inch punch , iron palm, explosive power demonstration he did were all BS

Except for he never fought in a real fight in professional competition, plus he weighed like 140 lbs. He would be fighting at Bantamweight in the UFC.

Not knocking him, he's a Martial Arts legend and he did have legitimate topnotch skill, but to say he was the best fighter in the world is completely unfounded. Chuck Norris atleast legitimately competed and won in high profile competition.


Doesn't really matter though because Anderson Silva IMO has proven himself to be legitimately ranked #1 of all time.

You are forgetting ufc and boxing are sports and sanctioned. I'm sure there are many in this world legends and masters if you must that would crush them but it wouldn't be a match that consisted of many rules I'm sure...

You misspelled Jeet Kune Do.
Secondly alot Jeet Kune Do is philosphy after he injured his back doing good mornings. That doesn't necessarily mean he would win a fight

UFC started with very limited rules and there were thousands of challenge matches before then where these TMA guys had plenty of chances to showcase these uber bad ass secret moves that all the dungeons and dragons nerds dream about today. That never happened. Sorry to shit on your fantasy.
