***Another solid workout. DB Incline went great, I am goin for 140's next week. Squats went good too because I jumped 20lbs from last week and only came a rep short. Im supposed to be doing a 5x5 style for my heavy lifts but I figured it wouldnt hurt to go to failure if I got some left in the tank, and besides Im not doing a lot of leg work besides squats and 1leg curls because of my groin. It is around 90% healed, I hope its 100% by the time football starts in Spring.

Ending beastdrol in about 5 days, but then starting deca in 7 days. So I should see some nice mass start comin along. Got most of my PCT stuff so thats all taken care of.

After cycle I am going to focus on a lot of football stuff, Im about to post some goals and routine setup after cycle

haha thanks man, i did gain a lot of strength fast in the past 4-5 weeks. Diet hasnt been the best but im EATING.. ive always had good pressing power and my shoulders/chest have been my strong point for sure. I wish I had a stronger back but I neglected it like a lot of ppl when i first started training

I average 5-6 whole eggs a day myself. I'm so fuckin broke I can't afford protein powder atm so I'll be jacking my eggs up to around 10-12 myself.

**** Another solid workout. I guess im gonna start putting PR again even though its not an ALL TIME PR. Stoked about the bench! Happy about every lift today actually, I need to start eating more if i wanna get up to 210 which is my goal.

Also did my 5th test e injection on friday, so technically I am on day 32. Ive been doing 500mg but im going to up it to 750 because i can no longer add deca to my arsenal since it stays in system and i get tested if i go to D2 for football.

Anyway I got back tmr! pretty stoked!

Jus keep lookin on craigslist ghetto ull find something. If you got some cash u can always buy some shit at wholesale and open up ur own ebay store, i idid that for a while but was only reeling in 300/month, it was a side job really.
 
I can pretty much guarantee that job was about as terrible a job as you can do.

Sure some jobs you might work in shittier conditions like alaskan fishing/crabbing.

Some jobs you might mop up cum off the floor or suck up waste from septic tanks.

But, pulling lumber on the chain is probably the MOST physically demanding job EVER. 4-2.5 hour shifts. Around 90% of the time you don't get an easy shift and many days you end up pulling your ass off all day. Imagine being expected to pull 20 foot pieces of 2x4 that are coming down a chain at about a foot a second and then imagine you have to pull 2-3 pieces together and then have a couple hundred more coming at you and there's about a foot space between each doubled up 20ft 2x4.....Then realize that the few vet's on the chain that have been doing it for 5+ years are all ex-cons and literally have no fucking choice because most places won't hire them and that is why they still slave their ass off doing the job. Then realize that even the most seasoned vet's routinely get fucking pissed because even these guys can't keep up with the amount of lumber you are expected to pull. I've seen the vets pull 6-7 pieces of 20ft 2x4 all at once. I don't know if you have any idea how hard something like that is to do, but it's insane.

No breaks if you get tired. I have never sweated so hard in my life and I'm confident I've worked harder than 99% of the bro's on this board.

I eat alot and as anyone who knows me knows I don't exactly eat super clean.:D I lost 10lbs in 4 weeks. Not only that, but you can't leave the chain to take a piss or shit without people yelling and getting pissed because they don't have anyone budgeted to cover guys that have to use the bathroom so they have to stop the chain which cuts down on the pitiful bonus that everyone gets each check which really is a way for management to cap wages and not give raises. And when you got a pea bladder like me that makes life really suck BAD when you are literally busting your fucking ass and have to piss at the same time.

So ya, that's why I quit.:mad::mad::mad::mad::theshadow

Happy about 405! Havent done that in a while. I actually visioned in my head that I did it, and sometimes for some reason I just envisioned myself failing, so i told myself fuckkk that and kept visualizing me doing it, and then I got it. I swear it helped because I had no motivation. I worked from 6am - 2pm at one job, then 5:30 - 9:00 at another, then worked out right after.

Im really happy i have started to include bb incline it is an awesome lift. Im definitely loving the 750mg test ahaha i do get a little more mad at shit tho i need to watch for that and make sure i calm myself down before i do anything stupid

I got my katanadrol in the mail today :evil::evil::evil::evil: Im going to go on a little "cut" at the end of my cycle. Ill be on 750mg test and 5 caps katanadrol, ill also be eating around 2500-2800 clean cals a day, and be doing cardio 3-5x a week. I cant fuckin wait! Im also gonna add in adderlin and forged burner

form all depends on your goals

are you squatting because you want to be able to squat alot of weight

or are you squatting to increase your quad mass?

Glad, if all you care about is moving more weight, try to get used to a wider stance. I've never really heard of/seen a person squatting 700+ without a wider powerlifting-like stance.
 
yes the squat did look good! and 435 is awesome bro!

however, to maximise the weight you can move in a parallel squat you could make some changes to your form. I will leave this to ghetto to explain the differances between a BB Squat and PL Squat because he knows more than me lol. Things like stance and bar placement will come into it. You probably wont even want to bother swapping around your form if your comfortable and strong using your current style though. Its a bit pointless if your not planning on competing in powerlifting imo.
 
I didn't feel like critiquing your squat because honestly it was very solid lift, but like anything there are things you can do to improve it.

I can't see your toe flare in the video so all I can say there is make sure your toes have a good 25-35 degrees of flare. This takes stress off the knees even if you currently don't notice any stress there.

Alright so this is how I would critique your squat.

1. IMO, I think you went about the whole process abit rushed, but I know you were amped for a pr.

2. Bring the bar lower on your traps. You are essentially squatting with an athletic squat width yet using a high bar placement. You would be stronger bringing the bar down another 2-3 inches on your traps. Ideally the bar would appear to almost be sitting on the rear delts or slight higher up.

3. Tighten up more in the upper back. It appears the weight is sitting comfortable on your upper traps, but I can tell you aren't fully tight in the upper back. Squeeze your elbows together as if you are pulling them towards each other and also try to raise them up in the back. Notice how your elbows are almost straight down the whole time. You can't get maximal upperback contraction like that.

4. Take 2 steps total when unracking the weight and setting your squat stance. You take 3 back and then 2 tiny little side steps to position your feet. This is burning energy even if you don't notice it. This weight for you while being a pr is not way up there in the stratosphere of what your max potential is. When you have to walk out 600 or more pounds the walkout can tax quite abit of your strength so being as proficient as you can in walking it out efficiently will only aid you in time.

Take 1 step back with the toes of the foot being in line or a couples inches behind of the heel of the other foot. Notice this is a small step back compared to how you see most people walk the weight out. Also work on setting your foot angle when you step back. No try to step back with the other foot and set it at the proper width and angle in 1 shot. Now make any last second adjustments to toe flare. If you walkout perfectly you can do it in 2 step with no extra positioning of the feet. TRUST ME this will make a HUGE difference when you really get into BIG weights Glad.

5. Your descent was very good. The speed at which you went down was controlled, but not too slow. The depth was a "tad" questionable. That would have passed most pl federations depth, but aim to break parallel with the top of your thigh. I would say you hit parallel, but if you can learn to squat an inch or 2 lower it will only benefit you and also place greater load on your hamstrings and glutes.

6. Your head position throughout the lift was good and I wouldn't change it. The only thing I would say is make sure you are looking slightly up throughout the whole lift. I can't tell, but it seems you are looking forward. Looking up reinforced upright posture.

7. This is the BIG one. Everything else I have mentioned is just little tweaks that will aid you when squatting heavy weights. When I said to tighten the upperback and pull the elbows together and up higher it really comes into play when you start rising out of the hole. If you are purposely trying to hold your elbows up as you descend into the hole as soon as you hit depth you can then cock them forward hard as you go up. This reinforces the chest up position and counteracts the effect of the weight wanting to bend you over. This combined with looking up the whole time both greatly help in maintaining good form while rising up.

8. Take a big breath into the lungs and the tighten your stomach. Then squat down. I saw you do 2 little short breaths, but you did not inhale into the chest. Creating a big chest and purposely tightening your abs again reinforces position when you start to rise. Because of your shirt I cannot tell if you were squeezing your abs.

9. Breath out through pursed lips/teeth as you rise up. This seems to help for some reason. Until recently I would hold my breath through the whole lift and now that I release a little air on the way up it seems to aid in stomach tension.


Well that's the jist of it. I wrote a very thorough writeup on the squat in my log which pretty much says the same things.


This is all minor stuff Glad. Your squat overall was good and far better than most videos I see posted. IF you take this to heart and work on these things it will only help to improve your squat form more which in turn will pay dividends as you squat bigger and bigger weights.

I myself have only recently learned alot of these subtleties with squat technique and they help tremendously.

One last thing to not is that the more you perfect your technique from setup, to walkout, to stance, bar placement, breathing, elbows etc the less you will think about the weight and the more you will be focused on performing a clean lift. This helps psychologically when handling bigger weights. My 405 squat was a pr and I wasn't thinking about the weight at allm but technique.

Plus it was in front of the girls we were going with, that was the only motivation that kept me from puking. Luckily they didn't really notice the gagging cause I pretended to make a phone call on the balcony.

***Great workout! 315x12 on squats absolutely killed me lol. I cant wait to get 20 reps on 315 and 12 reps on 405. 1 leg curls are getting stronger which is good cuz hamstrings have always been my weaker point. DB Incline was pretty sick too, puttin up the 145's in each hand :biggrin:

***Good chest workout. I wish i worked out my back as hard as I do my chest. My bb rows are weak compared to my bench so I need to focus on back, but nonetheless I still had a solid bench day. 315x6 felt light and I know I can get more next week. Also happy about 225x20 AFTER a max set to failure, My goal is 25 by the end of this cycle!

2 more weeks and then i got 4 weeks of cutting on a prohormone katanadrol. Ill also be taking my own fatburner i made. Ill be adding in cardio and switching my style of training for 4 weeks and really cutting up. Then im off cycle for a while at least till next summer

Got back tonight, gonna hit deads hard, pullups, bb rows and db rows, and btn at pulldowns to finish it off.

Im getting good energy and focus already, and it is keeping my appetite supressed for sure. No crash and I can already see a little fat loss.
 
I have been following a full body workout for the last 4 weeks of my cycle and will be combining it with HIIT cardio 3x a week for a little extra fat loss. I will do full body workouts throughout my PCT. I feel better everytime i do heavy woorkouts with the main lifts rather than excessive reps with more exercises. So on Wednesday I did

deadlift - 405x7
BTN Military - 195x6

And Friday I did Bench and squat. I had a shitty day though, no sleep and no food really fucks with ur workouts. I benched 315x4 and squatted 315x5, 365x1 but those are warmup numbers on a good day. Next week should be a lot better.

Gotta admit, i look small in these pics and irl i look way bigger. This is prob due to the fact that i took these on an empoty stomach, first thing in the morning, and i havent hads a carb in about 16 hrs lol.

I'm getting one when I get back from sea term, probably going up my ribs.

Thing is, I didn't think that people who lift(changing weight drastically) were supposed to get tats so I've bin stalling.

I thought he had his last name tatted somewhere...gladiuex so its kinda cool.

I am a little worried about stretching too...especially since I was planning on getting it on my left forearm or right bicep.

What do you guys think I'm getting "Earn it"

Should I get it left forearm or right bicep? I'm just a little worried about it being too visible for future jobs.

Bicep, if you have any intention of going military I would stay away from your forearm. Although depending on where you went you could get away with it.
 
Oh you can have tattoos anywhere not visible in a class A uniform. And there are now exceptions to that too. I was just thinking for some other jobs if I dont go career military
