not that a shit ton of cats running feral around a city is necessarily a good thing, but let's keep perspective on what needs to be handled first. The k9's gone native are far and away more dangerous than some kittehs running around. The cats will always find food in mice and birds which are more than plentiful in an urban environment. The dogs are fucked, once their Eukanuba is gone they're fucked. They're not gonna have a lot of luck hunting down cats who can scamper up the nearest object quick...so it's other dogs and humans who are going to be in their crosshairs.
