Honestly if my dad even saw my av on here he'd probably cry.

The summer before I went to college I worked with my dad. He'd get all emotional almost every day when we were driving home from work because he didn't want me to leave. I grew up his little boy. We went to car shows and all sorts of places together.

Anyhow, we've always been close. The best part IMO is that he's my step dad (I think everyone knows my dad got killed in an accident in 83). He CHOSE to parent me. He didn't have to. He wanted to. He adopted me, put up with all my drama, and became the most important person in my life. It's heavenly to be back to normal with him again.

I didn't know that.

Last month I got chewed out by my dentist for flossing too much and by my dr for working out too much.

If anyone had ever told me that yoga would make a drastic difference in my life I'd have laughed at them. If my parents ever saw all my buddhist books I'm not sure they'd ever get over it.

Man, buddhism has been a godsend for me ever since I started actually following it in mid-2004. You have to actually work at it though, always trying to make sure your thoughts are headed in the right direction.


Lets see, a confession. I was homeless for a few days back in summer and I think it did something to me mentally. I started suffering from mild depression for the rest of fall. That is over now though, but who knows why it happened.
