The Cabin Fever DVD is a must have!

Great movie, but the extras are among the best I've ever seen on a disk. The "Rotten Vegetables" claymation band alone is worth the price of the disk.......there are a total of 7 shorts with them, all equally disturbing and hilarious. Also the director included a better than average behind the scenes section.

I think because few understood it.People thought it was an actual horror,when it was in fact a horror themed comedy.If people realized it was a gorefest-slash-comedy,I think they would probably like it from an entertainment standpoint.I definitely laughed out loud a few times.

That's not how writer/director Eli Roth intended the film to be perceived, but then art is subjective. He didnt concepualize it as a comedy, but it definitely has many comedic moments.

Is that the movie where the people get that flesh eating disease? If so I saw it. My two favorite parts where when the one chick said to the guy from Boy Meets World about being in a situation where they knew they wouldn't get out alive so just fuck the person next to you. Cuts to them fucking. And when he bashed the girl's face in with a shovel to stop her pain.

I agree....I liked it for the very reason that it combined horror and comedy and did both pretty well...
