Judas Priest - Rising in the East (DVD)

Haven't bought much lately. I've copied a few discs from a friend though. Altogether, the newest stuff I have:

God Forbid: IV
Arch Enemy - Doomsday Machine
Evergrey - In Search of Truth
Poets of the Fall - Signs of Life
Death - The Sound of Perseverance
Demon Hunter - The Triptych

powerslave, how's that Priest DVD? I saw it this weekend and almost grabbed it.

It's good. It was filmed in Japan. No extras just the concert. Set list is probably the same as what you saw them play live. I had tickets to see them but ended up not going.

Next week Maiden's Death on the Road DVD comes out.

Heh, the concert was the same weekend as our move into the new house. We were still hauling stuff Sunday evening and my girlfriend had to have all her stuff out of her old house on Sunday. Plus, I was cooked from all the moving.

Hell Within - Asylum Of The Human Predator
Pelican - The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw

Hell Within:
Thrashy riffs. Leads could be longer. Pretty harsh vox — almost Carcass-like. Clean vocals are hit or miss: At times, very pleasant. At other times, it's like "wtf, when did I put this Atreyu CD in?" Overall, not bad, but the band can improve.

Pelican:
An impressive instrumental, voiceless journey. Thunderous, epic, and ambient. Very interesting, and never boring. Can't really think of how else to describe it. Imagine ISIS, sans vocals.
