The best tasting protein powder

Without a consideration of cost, what do you guys think the BEST TASTING protein powder is. I wanna get some for my gf (she is starting to lift) .... i get the 10 lb bags of optimum whey cause i dont give a shit what it tastes like ...

Dosen't optimun nutrition protein have alot of fat? Something like 3g per serving, 2g saturated? And a lot of sugar?

Don't start flaming, I'm only asking.

I'm drinking Gentec Nutriceuticals (chocolate) it takes ok and has total fat 1g, saturated 0g, carbs 4g and sugar 0g

or you can buy any old natural or vanilla flavored shit and throw in flavoring in various ways (fruit, syrups, etc.)
 
Designer Whey - been using it for over 5 years.
I alternate between the chocolate and the vanilla...
not ONLY does it taste great, its the best quality protein out there... that is just as important as taste.

Also, low in carbs and fat.
 
bump. a lot of you guys like designer whey ... i think im gonna give the metrx chocopeanut a try for sweetie :-D

I like natures best ISOPURE, my girlfriend drinks the zero carb & I drink the regular. It's not too expensive if you get it from some place like DPSNutrition. It's also not real filling like most are, especially if you mix it with water instead of milk. It's easier for women to drink, unlike the cake batter type drinks like EAS Myoplex. That shit is horrible!
 
zero carb chocolate Isopure

I hate designer protein and think that it tastes like shit. I dont know too many people that do like it and IMO the quality isnt up to par either.
 
If you want just pure protien I say EAS Simply Protien vanilla cream or meal replacement I say Isopure Strawberry and Cream.

Optimum has 2 g total fat per serving, 1g saturated fat. 2g total carbs, 1g sugar. Of course, there's only 22g of protein, so you'll want to use more than one scoop. IMHO, it's the best stuff out there for the price. Designer whey is twice the price for the same ingredients.
 
For what it is worth I personally know three WIEDER contracted atheletes who use Dorian Yates supplements over wieder's for both taste and quallity.

Keep in mind these are the same guys that can order WHATEVER they want and as much as they want from the wieder factory.

I know this does not mean much...i rather offer it is just my tidbit of informatiion on the subject.

I like to mix it up so as nothing gets too unbearable. My favorite right now is 1 scoop triple threat (mass qauntities) and 2 scoops ionized whey protein (plain from proeinfactory.com). with 8 oz milk or water.
 
i like Nitro Tech but don't tend to buy because of it's price. So i usually go with Optimum Whey Choclate good and cheap
 
I like Nitro Tech and since my good friend at GNC hooks me up I get the 5LBS tub for $30.00. Otherwise I would buy Isopure chocolate peanut butter. Here is a recipe you could try that tastes great. One packet of Strawberry Myoplex, Half a bottle of orange Carboforce, 3 Tbls of peanut butter, and ice. Its called the Captain Crunch because it tastes exactly like Captain Crunch Berrys. Not recomended if you are trying to get cut.
 
Optimum is always a good choice. I recently just finished a container of Champion Nutrition's whey and it tasted good as hell
 
I just got some new stuff today. I'm trying ISS Research, the company that Jay Cutler is with. That stuff is GREAT!!! It's cheap as hell, I think I paid $18.95 for the 2lb. jug. There is 42 servings in each container, 17.5 grams of protein, 2 grams fat, 7 carbs.

MIXES so damn easy, you don't even need a blender, and it's smooth as hell, no lumpy like some other ones.
 
met-rx extreme chocolate is very good also, 18g of carbs though, dont know if you are looking for carb free protein or not
 
I have used Designer Protien, but I have to say that I prefer Myoplex over it. Taste great!

Myoplex does taste really good, but its a lot heavier than designer... isn't Myoplex more of a meal replacement any way?

Ever heard of Enersoy?

Got it in Mexico. Its lots of isolated soy protein and vitamins.

got 1 pound (500 grams) for $8 from my amigo.

Get this 50 grams of protein in each serving (30 grams)

Is this possible? That's what the label says....
