There are many new creatine products out now that claim that their creatine is better. In fact, the creatine in some of these isn't creatine monohydrate, but some other form of creatine.

Do these work that much better? If you have used any of these and also creatine monohydrate, then please vote!

I've been taking Dorian yates Pro GF and I like it. It is almost the same as TRAC but I found it for cheaper.

You guys really like V12, Swole and those?
How many servings a container?
how often/when you take it?

The only creatine I've ever used is plain ol' creatine and I always gain around 7-10 pounds when I do. I've never felt the need to use anything else, just can't justify the cost.

So far v12 is in the lead with 45.45%.

I should've put NoZ on there but I didn't think of it at the time.

v12 users: If you could pick between 2 amps of Primo and 1 can of v12, which would it be?

I will only buy products that use Creapure. Creapure is the purest and highest quality creatine available. It is made by a German company (Degussa BioActives) Some name brand american companies use creapure in their products. Optimum Nutrition is one of them. I`m not knocking other brands of creatine .....but creapure is just my personal preference. If a company uses creapure, it will say so somewhere on the front label.

First, both Swole and Swole v2 have Dicreatine Malate not Citrate.

Second, there is no such thing as Tricreatine Malate only Dicreatine Malate.

Is there a difference between Creapure and Micronized Creatine? I just ordered AST Micronized Creatine today---hoping I picked the best basic creatine monohydrate

You notice the water weight is intramuscular, or sub-q from the V-12?

After taking any quality creatine whether its micronized german creatine or creatine with a delivery system such as v 12 for 30 days you get the same result . recent studies have shown that after 30 days of taking 5grams of any quality creatine your muscles become saturated completly with creatine.

Polls like this will last forever a year ago we were saying wow that effervescent creatine is the shit! 5 years ago we were saying man nothing is better then phosphagen hp! Now their pushing creatine thats microcoated for better absorbtion.

Saying man i get a better pump from such and such creatine makes no sense what so ever they just have different delivery systems/ insulin precursors. If you were to say that after 5 days you have a better pump with the V 12 rather then micronized german creatine that would make sense because your muscles will become saturated much faster due to the delivery system. But after 30 days that being said is out the door. from day # 30 - til you stop taking it they will have the same result, The creatines with a delivery system will be better days 1-30.

750mg of Test Enanth per week for 10 weeks
280mg of Dianabol first 6 weeks
400mg of Deca per week for 9 weeks
Tac on Clomid and Nolvadex

Then take Creatine...

And toss it in the trash can!!!

I've been trying Swole V2 for about 3 weeks and honestly haven't noticed anything. Maybe it's the timing of my dose. What I typically do is take one serving first thing in the morning with my 800cal shake. My post workout shake is Optimum Nutrition AfterMax that has 5g of creatine plus a bunch of other stuff so i don't hit the Swole after workouts usually. Should I save my dose of Swole for pre/during workouts?

Think I might try V12 next. I never had any luck with regular creatine in the past.

ROFL....that;s a great post........

This debate is certainly subjective. Creapure is the best creatine monohydrate out there. Actually SKW is also german grade and uses the same process. Scitec uses it. Anyways monohydrate is kind of "old school" compared to the newer di and tri-creatines. Tricreatine is just dicreatine with monohydrate added to it (I believe, but don't hold me to it). Anyways the idea behind these newer creatines is that they have a "lower molecular weight" thus they pass through the cell membranes easier. This results in less grams of it needed vs monohydrate and gives less water retention due to more intercellular creatine levels (supposedly what causes water retention with monohydrate is the high levels of creatine sitting outside the muscle cell). However i have never experienced any bloat. Remember that v-12 and the others all contain arginine alpha ketogluterate. This is another compound that works good all by itself and when combined with creatine of any kind it's going to give you the benefit of both not to mention it's also a good delivery agent for creatine.

There is no serious unbiased study proving that any hi-tech creatine is any better than the plain old creatine monohydrate

BTW, I read a study that say that as low as 2.5g per dose is as good as 5g

Anyone tried Bolt from San ? Great stuff, I felt the effects of it the first day I took it, that has never happened for me taking creatine before. Using V12 turbo right not, it rocks too ! Next creatine purchase will be CEE from the AF store.

Question

Would you guys recommend taking creatine while trying to cut down or lose body fat. If so what kind would you recommend. Im 5'9 195 prob about 16% BF and wanna lose like 15lbs but I dont want to lose the muscle and strength. Thanks

I tried some creatine elixir for a short period. I noticed that there wasn't much water retention at all. It definitely gave me more energy before the workout with ginseng too.

tricreatine malate is a three creatine blend with creatine malate as the main creatine. it was created by the company that makes v12.

All Syntrax products are bunk. Believe that.

lots of people dont react to creatine at all. this is because if your bodys creatine levels are allready at there highest then supplementing with will do nothing for you. you can go to your doctor and get a creatine test to see wether or not it will benifit you.

Creatine Ethyl Ester I've had good results with. VPX CEX also has an Creatine AKG component to it for muscle pumps.

I've used several of them and had only moderate gains. I'd like to try V12, but what about CEE from the store here?

Has anyone used the Kre-Alkyline??

According to their studies, their creatine supplement has the best bio-availability.

Anyone?

I have tried a few of the generic forms of creatine and never like them much. I always got an upset stomach, held on too more water than I wanted too and never saw much gain (some but not much to put up with the sides) Well, I tried a friends creatine one time when I was out and LOVED IT. It is called Creatine Glycerol Phosphate by metabolic nutrition. It is not very expensive, I get no upset stomach, little or no water retention and have noticed some serious assistance in the gym from it. I won't say never, but I don't see myself using any other creatine anytime soon. It works very well for me and I would reccomend it to anyone.

That sounds like what I've been looking for. I used to take about 10 grams of the german pharma grade creatine monohydrate when I was really into gracie jiu jitsu and submission fighting. I had way more gas in the tank than the guys who were doing it for years when I first started. I'd end up tapping them out after 10 minutes of sparring because they would run out of steam and I knew enough to keep from getting tapped out. I swear it was the creatine because I wasn't like that before I was taking it. ATP is a big factor in those type of sports.

I can't fight anymore due to back and neck injuries from car accidents but I still surf and weight train. I tried taking the same creatine again and I was freaking bloated bigtime. I think I didn't notice it before because of all the cardio I was getting from sparring. Now the only cardio I get is surfing and if there's no waves for a few weeks I'll break down and hit the stupid stair master. Needless to say, I was seriously bloated after about two weeks of regular creatine without all the cardio. I'm on Test too so I'm sure that didn't help. Do the new creatines like the ethyl ester and the V12 have the same water retention problems as regular creatine?

u serious? I fuckin love no-xplode... wierd...

Anyone taken AF's CEE yet? Going between that and VPX CEX for post cycle creatine...

I am serious. There was something weird about the taste that I didn't like, and I'm used to ephedrine for a pre-workout boost, so it did nothing for me in that area. Sorry, dude. I would really like to say that a lot of this stuff is good, but I ain't falling for any of their advertising hype anymore. If I had all the money back that I have wasted on crap like that in my lifetime, I could buy a fucking house!

I've tried both v12 and swole v2, better pumps with swole n no water retention unlike with monohydrate

but haven't tried Kre-Alkalyn, has good reviews

thanks. someone told me to get some creatine because im going to physical therapy and really working my quads, glutes, piriformis, knees... hips.. They said that might help with the muscle recovery/strengthening. Plus ive been lifting 4 times a week.

Is there a certain time of day or anything u guys can recommend on when or how to take v12?

V12...........................

i have taken...fuckin a gang of creatine......im a fighter...so i cant deal with bloat....pure CEE from anabolicfitness.com with a scoop of gatorade....the bomb . com

Personally I prefer creatine in pill form. CR5 by PMD definitely worked for me, Put in with a good diet and consistant workouts you'll for sure get only lean muscle mass gains. Also, a pal of mine was taking CEE at the same time i was taking CR5, he got good results and is getting a second bottle. Creatine Ethyl Ester is where it's at nowadays I hear.

CEX by Vpx by a long shot. It's creatine ethyl ester, it absorbs right away and most of it makes it to the muscle. No bloating, no sugar, no water retention, no smoothed out look, no cramps, no bullshit. It will make you thirsty almost right away though, that's how i know the shit works....

One thing though it tastes like shit, but i got used to it.

I buy Prolab "creapure", not sure if its the best, but I don't buy those expensive BS ones loaded with fillers. I buy dextrose and mix it with creatine, I get tons of servings really cheap and it seems to work fine.

cee seems to be the only thing that doesn't bloat me..

and holy crap.. 2003??? how things have changed.

i would say the advanced creatine because it has everything the others have in it and i think its very drinkable as far as taste goes

its just a different kind of creatine i think you can get it at gnc it works really well and it taste drinkable

Mate anything that has the Creapure logo http://www.creapure.com/
I read about it in the stickys and its really doing justice now. Far cheaper than all that brand crap with flavours and caffine but mind you i did take V12 and it worked really well i just didnt enjoy the taste at all used to cringe at the thought of taking it
