THC Question

I was a 5-8 time a day user, everyday, for 8 years. I have nothing against it, really. It does make one lazy. It makes one not care. It makes it easier to miss a workout or eat that junk food and just say "meh". Hence why I quit. I might smoke once or twice a month now. I feel better about myself not smoking it at all. I used to tell myself I'd NEVER quit smoking, because it wasn't bad in my eyes. I also used to not be able to imagine not smoking every day. It felt like such a huge part of me and my life, my open mindedness, my way of thinking. It still isn't bad in my eyes, but it affects MY diet and workout regimen. lol, sorry, hard not to share personal experience on this subject.

As a researcher (PhD) and occasional partaker (legally of course) I can tell you the research shows only long term effect is apathy.

From 1st hand experience it all depends on the strain and your personal brain chemistry, hence some get paranoia, munchies, lethargic, energetic etc.

Bottom line, it varies for everyone. The main controversy revolves around the delivery (i.e. carcinogens inhaled). However, even then the carcinogens inhaled is less than a 10th of that of an entire carton of cigarettes.

My advice do your own DD. There are literally 10's of thousands of legitimate (empirical) articles published. As opposed to pre 1990 when less than 300 articles were published!!

Yeah I have definitely gained since quitting weed , it's easier to stick to my diet and actually care about it lol. I have heard that weed actually weakens the joints but that was just a study I read , who really knows , all I know is I can lift way more now :)

Its not the paranoia that im worried about. i was just worried about muscle depeletion... I dont get lazy, but was just worried.... maybe thats the parnoia sinking in!!!!!! lol

If you actually look up the definition of "apathy" you will see EVERYONE has some form / variation of it described in their post (except Radar's "munchies", lol).
