test: short acting VS long acting

for you guys that have use both propionate and enanthate/sustanon, do you experience less water retention with propionate? i have read about people having less problems with a short acting test than with long ones, something with easy to control because of the ester. what the deal? can someone help me understand? im plaing of using 250mg sustanon E5D but thinking of changing it to propionte EOD for less bloat.

I've asked the same and the synopsis seems to be that with the shorter acting ester, it's in and out faster and causes less bloat. I have found no clinical data backing this up but it's probably out there. Heres a link to a good profile with some info:
