test and deca cycle

i'm 47yrs old 5'8", 153lbs.15% body fat..i would like to run a cycle of test and deca. i need info on cycle instructions... and if i need a PCT,and if so, what PCT will i need?....also is this a cycle that will benefit me?..i do not want "bitch tits" and don't feel as if acne will be an issue..please help! thanks fellas!

just for the record, I'm 43 and acne is still very much an issue for me when I cycle.

You didn't mention anything about your exercise regimine or training history. Help us understand why you would know like to run a test/deca cycle? You're certainly old enough to make your own decisions but we can be of more help the more we know.

At 47 it's very possible that your testosterone levels have reduced to the point where you have a harder time building and maintaining muscle. If that's the case, a cycle of test/deca will only help you while you're on it. If your natural test is low, then all the muscle you gain will drop back off a few weeks after the cycle. I know because I was in that circumstance.

If you want to cycle, you should get a "before" blood test anyway so why not visit your doctor for a checkup and get some blood work done. If you qualify for testosterone replacement therapy, that will be much more helpful to you than a cycle of test/deca.
 
well dude, i train hard 4-5 times a week,eat the right way....i trained consistantly until age of 35..got a sales job/traveled and my body went to hell....i have gone from 185 fat as shit 28.5% body fat in July 2008... to current 153lbs/15% body fat. and now i would love to gain some size and then rip up my gains....i have really push it in the gym for the past 8 months...preworkout,i am not "soft" but not "hard" either....i get a nice pump post workout so i figuar i have a good shot of gains..i am scheduled for blood work next week...i just had a check up Friday and i'm good to go...BP is fine, no complaints! i guess i'm just looking to kick start my body, i dont feel i can gain any more at my age w/out help. thanks again for the input dude!
 
I am 40+ also and believe what nydj is saying. To run a cycle is great however at our age the muscle will not stick. Once you are off cycle it is very difficult to keep gains. My diet over the last 3 years has changed significantly thanks to the enlightenment of EF.
There is no kick start at our age there is only blast and cruise.
 
i hear ya fellas...i'll just keep bustin' ass and take what i can get! thanks for the input!...we'll see what the blood work results are, and if test is low, i'll give the testosterone replacement therapy a shot.
