What are the best tempo's to be going for when lifting ? I want my development to be of lean muscle mass. WHat do you guys think ?
 
you have options with weight training

1. full body workouts
2. 5x5 style compound lifting
3. split routines of 3-5 days

get on a workout program and lift consistent. don't worry about lean muscle mass gains. you will be lucky to get muscle at all, it takes time to build muscle
