A sinlge dad wanted me to post this for you ladies who have young teenagers (or almost teens) or started shaving early..... Any ladies have advice? Help a daddy out!

"Im a single dad, and my daughter is 10, and definately ready to start shaving, she has my genetics. What is the best/easiest way to shave legs and pits? Basicly I'm looking for Razor vs Shower, specific brands, and techniques. Thanks in advance!"

If she is ok with a little bit of pain start her waxing now....she will THANK her dad BIGTIME when she gets older........

I know I'm glad I started waxing early....before I started shaving....

Waxing or that new stuff that you spray the hair removing foam on your legs and use the bladeless razor to remove the hair. What is it called? Veet?

Thanks ladies, I know he thanks you very much. Men tend to be kinda clueless about the things ladies go through! :)

And wait until her period rolls around.....Daddy.....start keeping pads and tampons in the house JUST IN CASE.....girls start very early now! :)

I think it's hard to set an age on it. If it's something she feel uncomfy with herself about then by all means she should be able to get waxed or naired. Maybe not shaving....that's a little more tricky and it has to be done nearly daily. Waxing isn't fun but it's nice that it doesn't have to be done often. If I ever have girls and they want to start getting into brow plucking I'm just going to get them waxed at the salon and they can maintain because I've seen some horrible messes resulting from 12 year olds trying to shape brows.

I suppose if they decide to settle for shaving it's best to do so after the hair's been wet for a while in the shower or in the tub. Oh how I'm cringing at the thought of the first time I shaved-- fast and dry. lol And if she's going to shave she should probably get a double bladed razor (I personally love to steal my honey's mach 3 but he gets a little pissy about that).
