Tanning

Time for me to start tanning... I'm starting to feel translucent. I usually wait until February or March to start, but I need it now. I notice that the light really improves my mood during the winter. I think I have to go today.

I definitely try to not tan as much as I used to. Just a little bit over winter and spring... maybe 2x per week to start and then just 1x per week or so to maintain. In the summer I still try to layout by the pool or at the beach as much as possible.

So, I just went tanning and I'm finally warm :D . I've been freezing for days. Of course I almost blew away it's so windy out.

My dermatologist & my plastic surgeon won't let me tan anymore.... :sigh:

I think I am going to try the Mystic Tan this spring..... I LOVE being tan, but I really can't ignore how bad it is for you anymore.... :(

just before Xmas I had my entire body for the first time professionaly aribrushed with the darkest tan they had available - unfotunately it was not cheap

i am very white and do not get suntanned easily but the airbrush tan was amazing, i felt like a new woman... will do it again sometime soon or I will just buy my own spray tan machine...

I've really really been trying hard to not tan and it's hard. I tanned for about 3 weeks before my wedding and a few times before my honeymoon. Otherwise I've laid off of it for a while now. Damn it for being so unhealthy but so nice all at once.

I go tanning about 1x a week during the winter, and 3x week during the summer.

Tanning isnt really bad for you, if you do it in moderation and build your tan gradually....dont overexpose your skin---your skin continues tanning for 24-48 hours after tanning so dont go on consecutive(sp) days. Always Always use eye protection. and use a GOOD tanning lotion to keep your skin moisturized." Remember NEVER EVER sunburn....even if you think well my sunburn always turns to a tan in a few days sunburns are what cause so much skin damage

Most reputible tanning salons will do a skin type analysis for you, not just take your money and put you in a booth for however long YOU want to go...if not there is a website where you can do it yourself to see what your level of exposure should be.

I will try to find that site if anyone is interested in it.

I feel off the pale wagon and put my ass in a bed today..

LOved it
