t-3 used with doc precsribed t-4?

I think its just not working 100% but dose work a little. the doc does blood tests to get the levels in normal range.

I think im just going to avoid the t-3. its too much risk and not enough reward.

smart bro ^^^you may ask your doc about armour thyroid (t3/t4 combo)--much older drug but my doc prefers it.

all the old school guys i train around swear by this shit. i tell them, my thyroid is healthy and its gonna stay that way till God decides otherwise.

t4/t3 together ( known as Armour ) is now routinely used in the treatment of hypothyroidism -- it is the 'standard of care' which means that if your md is knowledgeable he or she will prescribe them together.... this is more effective than t4 alone -- also t4 or t3 or both together should be made by a compounding pharmacy which your md should know about -- the pharmacy if certified will produce a quality product which means you get what is on the bottle
