Sweat pants to stay warm for squating?

ok, i heard about wearing warm-up (Nike-type) of pants while squating to keep your muscles warm and from getting cooled off!! However i always just wear shorts while working out.

I just read an article on Dr. Squats page where he recommends to wear cloths that will "keep your muscles warm" while working out. When I go the the YMCA the air is actually pretty cool, almost have to open a window to warm things up!! But when I go to FIU its a little more warm. But i was thinking that for squating I should wear these type of pants anyway to stay warm?

Anyone feel this will help?

I do this if I am training somewhere even slightly chilly. But then I have trouble keeping my knees as flexible as they used to be.

Can't hurt.

I've read this as well-- it's even more important prior to stretching.

I just can't stand the profuse sweating so I wear shorts.

I squat and deadlift in a speedo. I like the freedom. :D

Always shorts and always to the knee. No shorty, shorts for me. ;)

Its a good idea to wear them so you can keep your joints warm. And its even a better idea to wear them at a meet. Or during your attempts at a meet when your in your suit you can put a towel over your legs to keep them warm, well thats what I do.

one of these days im gonna go out side in the summer, and do stiff legs butt naked.. oo what a site that will be.
