Surgery for acne scars

Has anybody ever had procedures done to lessen or remove scars. My scars are the keloid and hypertropic type. Im interested in either laser or simple surgery to cut out some of the scar tissue. I like the fact of lasers but it just take many treatments. I want to get these fuckers taken care of though. I need some input.

I went to my doctor about mine today he gave me a tropical cream to use (if you want the name ask cuz im not running to my car unless i need to) i put it on at night then wash it off in the morning, its like a gel im told havent started it yet.

Basically when i went in there i told him that i wanted to get rid of this stuff and didnt want to do somethin so harsh as laser treatment yet and was leaning toward tropical cream or accutane which is good if your prone to scar tissue. He gave me the tropical cream and said if it doesnt work he will get me accutane next time.

Just go in there with both guns blazin and they will give you wat you want.

I have no acne at all. I ran 5 months of accutane and now 9 mths after the treatment i have terrible scars just on my shoulders. Down my lats are scarred too but just discoloration. I have had 2 series of steroid injections in all my hypertropic and keloids but the results were so so. Some of them shrunk and some didnt change at all. I want to lessen these as much as possible. I guess ill go back to my derm and get recommended to aplastic surgeon.

huh its hard for me to picture how severe they are but if they call for plastic surgery then go for it.

Try this:

Glycolic Acid Skin Care Products - Acne, Dry skin, and Oily Skin Care Products.

The 40% solution. For the keloids.. "sand" them down slowly.

No suntanning, makes scars worse, wait till they clear.

BTW the glycolic treatment is the same as derms use but by buying the $150 kit it will save you about $1500 in derm treatments.

6 months and you will see major improvement, it increases skin turn over rate.

good luck!
