Subway Wheat vs Italian

I hit subway up pretty often.

I would think the wheat bread would be better for you "cutting", but wanted you guys to take a look.

usually get a chicken breast on italian double up the chicken to get to 8 oz.

lettuce and salt and pepper

thought I was doing okay with this.

cutting on the pintaca diet btw
 
The footlong turkey breast can keep me filled up for like 1 hour, then I must eat again. Not a very filling food.

Do you have any recommendations on a place that I can swing through to pick up a meal that's decent or will I be packing a lunchbox the rest of my life?

It's the lunchbox for you, lol you'd get used to it.

The only thing that isn't processed in your subway sandwich is the lettuce. lol
 
Well I order a Itailian BMT with double the meat and split it over the day into 2 meals. I know it has pres.... but what the fuck. I dont have the luxury of having the time of day to always cook a meal. I know its cheating.....and hey thats maybe why I am still fat. I just eat em when I HAVE too. Otherwise I cook my own.

i NEVER heard of anyone cutting and eating crap like subway. WTF??? The best way to cut is by eating adequate/good amounts of calories, keep food as CLEAN as possible, the less processed the better....any kind of fast food is mass produced, loaded with atrificial preservatives and flavor, full of empty calories like subway is pure crap. People who think that subway is actually a healthy food are very much supporting the subway marketing strategy.....it means they know what they're doing to lead people on so easy...they fooled you!
 
in comparison to fast food burger joints subway is healthy

in todays fast paced environment id rather see people stop at subway than go through a burger joint

their marketing strategy is right on pace with what they offer compared to their competition
 
damn, i was planning on getting a Subway 6" turkey sub tonight...? now i'll feel guilty...

oh well, no time to pack a lunch today... Friday's are rough...

I have a PB sand for break though...

Almost same exact sandwhich I get except wheat and I get all veggies except olives and pickles.
 
Ill tell you right now that i dont always have time to pack a lunch, keep full stock of groceries to bring everyday. So i go to subway if i have to eat out, i have been on the pintoca diet for 6 weeks right along with SRE30, im down to 226lbs (was 244lb) and he is at around 227 (down from 240). So apparently eating subway when you have to is not that bad, say what you want but it beats the hell out of skipping a meal or buying Mcdonalds.

If you are cutting you need to stay away from as much sodium as possible. The chicken is loaded with it as a preservative, it not fresh chicken. Adding more salt makes it worse. I would cut out Subway all together also.
 
like others said, i agree that it's the healthiest fast food joint. plus there's no option of fries to even tempt patrons. looking at french fries will make me gain a pound.
 
It all come down to choices (and the fact we tend to get very anal with our diets).

1. If you can plan ahead, pack your meals. Here Miss24K is right (as she usually is)
2. If you get caught with your pants down, you have several choices: have some protein powder in your car or locker or a bar (God forbif what you choose, some bars are really shitty) or go for the least-damage approach, which seems to be what you are doing.

My feeling is that eating a relatively-safe meal like the turkey sammich is better, in any case, than skipping the meal altogether (remember you need to eat to lose weight), so as long as it's not a constant ocurrence (i.e EVERY WEEK) you should be OK.

Then again, if you get complacent and start noticing the weight is not going anywhere, you need to tighten that diet down

there are now some really solid low sugar, no hfcs bars bro....myoplex carb sense, nitrotech, oatrageous......

which translates into: If you are gonna eat subway, just choose the bread you like best cause it's all about indulgence at this point
