Sub Q vs. IM testosterone injections results

the risk of subQ is that you will develop an abscess. you want to get it in the muscle to prevent that.

1) ^^^LMAO for the 3cc sub q inject ... cannot be easy or low in pain/discomfort
2) IM, especially for 'heavier' compounds, is advisable due to abscess risk.

stevesmi, this is exactly why I asked and thanks for taking the time to reply. It's like anything in life, all "learning curve" and I do not want to re-invent the wheel. I know others have tried, however, I am seeing more and more positive reinforcement with Sub-Q. Must be the extremely small dosages. Thanks again!
 
^Bingo. I agree 100%. For TRT purposes on a low volume of oil, you may be able to get away with sub-q, but I wouldn't even risk that. When you are running a cycle with more oil, you are definitely going to want to go IM. I would just inject deep into the muscle to be safe no matter what.

(glutes) switched to thigh on Friday and I must be the biggest flappin' pussy the world has ever seen! You would think I had been shot, literally, hence the research on Sub Q versus IM.

PIP in the thigh will go away over time. First time it can be crippling, even if you are not using painful compounds/esters.

Glutes are much easier and less problematic. I would stick to those if you can. Also try slowing down your injections. It reduces PIP the longer you take to let the oil dissapate slowly while injecting
 
Funny thing - I rotate between glutes, delts, and quads and my glutes actually hurt the worst. but not at the muscle - at the skin (and they tend to bleed more than the other sites as well). I wonder if it has to do with my ass having more fat than my quads or delts ..

I had a typo, it was my first four injections in shoulders/delts that went well. I did warm the oil and rubbed them well after the shot. Also, I found working out immediately or literally working the soreness out - that area, or muscle group, did help.

Virgin muscles, I know, will have to try glutes. Need 1.5" however with my fatass.
