Stretch vs warm up ?

I do both static and dynamic stretching to warm up for compound movement lifts.
 
warmup before, stretch after is the cookie cutter answer however there is a difference as PON says above

my suggestion is hot yoga 2X per week for a lifter. it is going to increase flexibility and mobility way better than anything else
Agreed always warm up first then stretch.
Especially during the cold temperatures.
Nothing worse than trying to stretch cold and hurting yourself.

most guys i see in the gym just show up and start lifting right away, no warm up

and then after just leave, zero stretching.

at our level and using steroids on top of that it is a recipe for disaster!
