Street Bikes

I've ridden dirt all my life started riding street 6 years ago. Have owned a 04 750gsxr, a 07 600gsxr, and now own a 2009 zx10. My experience is when I was 18 I got tboned wasn't my fault at all due to me going straight and him taking a left into me. Sucked snapped my left femur metal rod from my hip to my knee and 3 screws. I love to ride I won't not own a bike. All I can say is learn to ride take it slow take your time keep your eyes open and loud pipes save lives....learning your probably going to eat shit at some time or another so wear proper protection and always wear a fucking helmet don't be an idiot mine save my life!

Buy used cause if your anything about getting better you will fall... Take classes the msf course is a good start. And get the 300. I love my ninja

my hubs is nicknamed "uniball" because of his bike

oh, and don't listen to ego's about cc's...buy something smallish and used for a first bike..you're gonna drop it anyway and small is good for learning how to handle twisties

but on another note...take the safety class and shop around the 500-600 range

best advice I ever took was to NOT go with too small/under-powered bike as a first bike because a. you need some speed sometimes to get out of bad situations and b. you'll be bored as fuck with a really small bike in one season
