don't do EF a disservice by copy-pasting a stupid list and pretending it's a case against abortion. most of these people weren't even unwanted children, or abandoned at birth. for example, alonzo mourning voluntarily entered a foster home when he was a kid. nelson mandela's dad died when he was a kid. moses was sent away because hebrews were being exterminated. gerald ford's mom got full custody and then remarried.

it's fucking annoying is what they are. I'm tired of people pretending modern day republicanism isn't desperately trying to slouch this country back into the old testament. 100 years of republican rule, I'm not joking about this, and i can go rape a woman and as long as I sport the dad 50 schekels and agree to marry the worthless hoor I'm golden. I swear to god they're trying to take us back old school.

But I don't think everyone that votes republican is like that.....I honestly think a decent majority of republicans save the core base just don't understand the above concept.They're just wrapped up in this false narrative being spoon fed to them that republicans are "small govt". Both parties have blown up the federal govt for sure and there's definitely collusion there....but it was the republicans who initiated the tools to allow them to do so. I don't understand how people in this day and age with instant access to information still don't understand that deficit spending is why we're in debt. You can grouse about spending all you want it's totally valid, but if the govt was spending the money it had we wouldn't be in debt would we?

We're all getting hosed by the govt and nobody wants to wake up and see it...everyone still thinks "their party" isn't to blame and is the answer to the problem. This rep vs dem broadway show is now so enmeshed that only secession fixes it. It's unfortunate but it's the truth.

I'm sure we can agree that the list of let's call it "birthed but abandoned/given away" but were never anything but a burden to society (prison, homeless, welfare, mental issues) likely much longer.

and ur smart enough to know what my point was too...our founding fathers came here and created this country and one of their biggest concerns was separation of church and state, yet they saw fit to write "God" all over every damn thing...and the funny thing is? in their time they would have been considered radical liberals. no one is shoving religion down anyone's throat...it's one of the ideals that this country was founded on yet, if you don't like it, you're free to ignore it or, if you really get tired of it, you're free to leave...that's the conservative viewpoint on that subject...and a lot of conservatives aren't particularly religious. the constitution, the flag and the united states marine corps are old fashioned ideas, as well...lets just throw those fuckers away too while we're at it.

and for the record? meh...i have a masters degree but i think i'm dumber than a box of rocks...i'm really good at what i do and i'm really bad at a whole bunch of other shit.

i'm not making a case against abortion...fuck...i'm more likely to make a case for abortion...however, my fucking law would allow for abortions of unwanted adults too...if your family has the wherewithal to pay, but they let you live on public assitance instead of taking care of you themselves, then you by definition are unwanted and we should be allowed to abort you...let's re-write that fucking law and get it right this time, for chrissakes!
