Steroid Stretch marks.

Re: Stretch marks.

I have never done a cycle. Im still researching the first cycle I want to do. Anywho, I was thinking. Yeah I know dangerouse! But from what im getting you can expect to gain, I dunno, 10-30 lbs. I would guess adding that kind of weight to your frame has to lend itself to stretch marks. So whats your experience with stretch marks? Ever hear of it as a problem? Tips to prevent them? Do you have them? Does your Neighbor who is also on a cycle have them?

coco butter and aloe vera helps.

thighs armpit and especially delts for me.
also heard from a pregnant woman that appricot oil was great but never tried

Re: Stretch marks.

You will get them if the weight gain happens to fast for your skin to adapt. i got a large number when I was young in high school. These I got when I was all natural. IMO there is nothing you can do to prevent stretch marks. No cream, medicine will work. I tried them all, including going to a dermatologist who prescribed vit a, retin a gell and even those didnt work. Its all genetics.
Best adivce I could give is to get even leaner than you are now. If you go on cycle and bulk up going on a high cal diet you are going to put on bodyfat. This added weight can lead to stretch marks. Keep your weight down by staying lean. You might find yourself only put on 10 lbs on a cycle if you get really lean during the process.

when i was younger I had some nasty bright red ones across my chest and arm pits ,
they fade with time to a pinkish/shiney color .
Not that big of deal.

Yeah they fade to a white color eventually and really arent the noticable. Ive got some really big ones though on my inner thighs, and those gross me out even!

Yeah they turn to white for sure. When I was 19 and knew nothing about lifting and what AAS would do I put on some serious size to my arms and I've had stretch marks ever since. Tried cocao butter after the fact and it did nothing.

10 - 30 lbs distributed over your whole body should not stretch any area enough to damage the skin unless you have a nutritional deficiency. Rhino mentioned that he got one stretch mark in one armpit. If it was due to stretching you would have thought he would have gotten them in both.

I've never seen anything looking like a stretch mark despite a rapid 25 lb gain.

Some ladies get bad stretch marks during pregnancy, others (even very small Asian girls - eg. my 83 lb ex gf) can go through pregnancy without a single scar...and pregnancy stretches the skin far more than any bodybuilder would in a 9 month period.

I've seen an example of 2 sisters where one got bad stretch marks and the other none.

Yeah, its really is all about genetics. Some are prone to them, and others are not. You will find out soon enough if you are once you start to put on the weight.
