Starting first deca cycle

I havent used deca before so im a little skeptical on how much i should try. I originally planned to run 500mg of deca/week for 12 weeks. I have heard that 600 is about the max you should use in a cycle. Would there be a downside to making my cycle 750mg/week for 8 weeks?

First of all 12 weeks of deca is not long enough, 8 weeks is absolutely worthless. You need at least 16 weeks and preferably 20 imo.

What are your previous cycles if any? How much test will you be running alongside? What are your current stats? These will all be factors in your optimal dose.

I would say 500 is a bit on the low side, but I'm not one to talk to about low doses haha I like to get my bang for my buck!

I would say start at 600mg and if after 8-10 weeks you feel you could use an extra kick, increase your dose to 750 or 800 for the final 8-10 weeks. You will then know your tolerance of the compound and have a good idea how your body responds.

Just make sure if your not blasting and cruising (which I doubt you are due to your question) make sure you have a very solid extensive PCT plan as this cycle will shut you down HARD!!! And DO NOT I repeat DO NOT run deca solo... You will hate yourself forever if you go that route, it's a horror show waiting to happen.

Agree.
Don't use deca alone.
Use deca only to soothe joints @ 200mg/week or less.
Use Equipose for a first cycle.
750 mg overall is ok for a first cycle.
I'd say 12 weeks or less if you stop growing before the cycle ends.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Im still kinda new to using gear. Ive only ran a couple cycles so far. Mostly tren-e and test-e. Im weighing 175 right now and about 10-12% bf. Looking to gain some weight fast and heard deca would be the best bet. Im probly going to run some test-e with my deca. But if i was to run deca only, would my natural testosterone production come back over time or completely crash? Just curious about that is why im asking. And the post i made about the "bitch tits" was just for shits and giggles. Didnt mean to waste any of your time on that. I just thought people would get a kick from it. Looking for any tips to help me so thanks for the feed back

Run the test period!

You will have a disaster of a time recovering if you don't, and will not make the most of the cycle. Your production would be instantly shut down, and it would take an extremely long time for it to come back with a chance of not recovering fully at all. And run it 16 weeks minimum drag the test out and extra 2-4 weeks after you drop the deca

Thats what ill do bro. Sounds like you know what your talking about. How much weight do u think would i put on with this cycle if im taking in 4000 calories and 250grams of protein? Sorry if my question lack in knowledge, in still nee to this stuff

No worries brotha! That's what we're here for!

I would say with a consistent diet and training regimen, it would not be far fetched to chuck on a solid 25-30 pounds, PCT properly and keep 20 would be ideal! I would even increase your protein to about 300 grams... Utilize the upgraded protein synthesis to its full advantage... Shit on my last bulk I was fucking eating chicken breasts and rice and shakes in between sets!! hahaha!! Keep the diet 90% clean, watch the simple carbs, mash back protein like it's your bestest friend and you'll make some solid gains bro!! Good luck on your cycle. I'm trying Deca for the first time as well. I pinned 250mg of Deca and Sustanon yesterday morning. Still trying to decide on the dosing, but I was hoping some of the guys in this thread can shine some light on the ratio of Deca to Test. I have heard you can match it mg for mg. I have also heard you need to keep the test mg higher than the Deca mg. I even heard that you should run the Deca high and the Test low.

It's only my second cycle. I was leaning towards 16 weeks, 250mg of each every 4 days. Which I believe to be 438mg of each compound each week.

dont go less than 12 weeks with deca (test 2 week longer) IMO
i wouldent go more than 400mg ew deca myself and have use it many times.
i rather just up test dose a bit personally vs bumping deca higher than 400-500mg ew.

8 weeks of deca is a waste
