i know it has 0 cals per tsp. but where can i find the cals for it, by cup? I heard that Splenda has 100 cals per cup. so that would be 50 for 1/4. cup. I wondering for baking/ other purposes you might use that much splenda.
The packets and the bag are different. The bag stuff (which measures cup by cup to sugar) has fillers in it, and therefore carbs/calories. Stick with the packets if you can and use a conversion chart (which you can find using google or probably on this board).
Well, which bag are you getting?? There are 2 different types of Splenda: Splenda by itself & a Splenda/Sugar combo. If you're buying the Splenda/Sugar combo it will have cals/carbs, etc....
Splenda by itself is an artificial sweetener made by chemically changing sugar.....
Even the regular splenda bag (not half splenda half sugar) has fillers in it and therefore some carbs/calories. It's the only way they can make it measure spoon for spoon to regular sugar. I'll see if I can find a label online for nutrional info.
