Splenda - too good to be true?

Splenda is awesome,,,try it in your protein powder for extra sweetness.

peace :fro:

Splenda....harmful cause it contains Chlorine...please ya know how much is in your drinking water, not to mention when you drink the pool water:) My dog used to live off the pool water....she lived to be 13 years old!

Splenda...I love it!!!....But I will always keep a strong place in my heart for aspartame:)

If I'm not mistaken splenda is derived from sugar, what they do to make it acceptable for diabetics to use I'm not sure. So if its made from sugar and sugar isn't toxic that I'm aware of how can splenda be toxic.

i am sure if you ate 50 boxs a day of splenda that you could bring yourself into a toxic state.... funny thing is bottled purified water can have a fatal recation when consumed by drinking 10+ gallons in a short period of time (4 or less hours) but we dont't run around saying water is toxic, unles it comes out of the atlanta metro taps

You have to consider the source and their reason for recommendation.

As a hypoglycemic, EVERY single item on the "healthy" list is POISON to me. I can't even eat fruit without mood swings, extreme fatigue and the feeling I'm slipping into a coma. So - there's no such thing as "good for everyone".

I consider Splenda as proof of a compassionate deity.

Seriously, though, they thought sacharine was dangerous for decades, and it proved not so.
