I consistently send dozens of audiotapes, cd's & plain ol' letters from Canada to the US (I have a mailorder business) and the AVERAGE package or letter (XpressPost) takes 2-3 weeks.

One money order actually took 9 weeks (damn!!)

Just be patient and check the tracking # to make sure US Customs didn't snatch it.

Bullshit. I sent hundreds of packages via Express Post to US. The longest it ever took was 6 business days. If its been more than that I can almost guarantee you it was seized. Animal B and Georgie24 ASK YOUR SOURCE FOR THE TRACKING# All Canadian Express Post packages have one. You can use it on canadapost.ca until it enters US, after that it will confirm the delivery on usps.com

If he'll give it to you and the packs indeed left Canada weeks ago. They're as good as lost. If he can't provide you with one, he never sent anything and you're dealing with a wrong guy.

such is not the case, me and another CT bro are waiting for a package, i have been waiting since June 3rd, and the tracking says it is in the US....and as stated before, sometimes it takes over 3 weeks, because Xpresspost is unreliable, as we can see, and many in this thread can attest to that.....:bawling:
 
also,

sometimes the tracking numbers from Canada Post don't even work. I have the real slips from CP in front of me from a few weeks ago (Im not a source, mailing b-day cards to ppl, and I will not give you a source), and the tracking numbers on them don't even work.

I have never had a problem with xpress post but to you bro,s with no tracking #,s thats bull ####.
your scource should have it e-mailed to you the day your order goes out the door ,period .

Canadian Xpress Post tracking# sometimes does not work on usps.com BUT it ALWAYS works on canadapost.ca

True!

I had a package sent to me 2 days ago and I just checked the tracking # and it told me when it arrived at the post office here and then it told me it was being delivered to the customer (me) and the exact time it was being delivered.

Xpress post rocks! And so does Spectro!

I disagree to that post and the one before it too.
I bought xpresspost envelopes for the reason they have tracking numbers and one of the envelopes I bought had a bunk number. It was still able to be delivered tho but I couldn't track it. Canadapost webpage kept saying "wait one business day..." even a week later, and also again after the person on the other end got the envelope.

only if I had a scanner... bah it's not really worth it.
