Soreness..muscles/joints?

I have been lifting for three years now...I have competed for the past two years and have have trouble getting back into the groove. Every time i work out it seems that I get aches and pains in various areas. Now when I go into the gym this pain dissappears as I am loosened up and get myself moving..however it never fails..about three hours after my workout my muscles get really tight in certain areas. (middle back, rear shoulders, deep armpits) It is very discouraging and I would like to continue with bodybuilding but this problem has been hindering me for the past year and half. Physio, massage, and joint supplements work temporarily but just dont seem to do the trick..any other suggestions to the reason behind this chronic problem?

Stetching helps a lot..I have recently designated at least 20 min. at the end of my workout to it. Swimming has helped a lot too..I go about twice a week now...I used to be very active from ages 10-18. Since then i have done no physical activity outside of bodybuilding. Do any of you fellow bodybuildiners have more muscle soreness than when you started lifting? I think that I may have developed muscle imblances that contribute to this soreness..has anyone heard of any kinds of problems related to this?

Deca...I am not exactly sure what that is other than it is a form of steroid.. if thats a solution then wouldn't it would only sheild the pain temporarily and then only return later when I decide not to use it anymore...am I wrong in this philosophy or is there something I am missing out on here?
