That's a door you opened man, not me. I was just asking a question.

I was trying to explain the answer to a question that you aked my friend. If you don't understand - just say you don't understand. That approach works much better that the get defensive and smart off tatic that you seem to use so well.

I give what I get "my friend." Your response was condescending and you had it coming.

Condescending?? LOL!!!

How the crap are you supposed to say "Stand in the seat, grab ther handles and shrug" then??

That's not exactly how you put it now is it?

What??

You stand in the seat and grab the handles and shrug.

Loosely translated, I think this is what you meant, "What are you an idiot? You stand in the seat and grab the handles and shrug....Jesus."

First of all, I've never seen a shoulder press machine that held enough weight to do shrugs. Secondly, standing in it's seat would look, well, ridiculous. Why even go to the trouble when you can use dbs?

If that is what I meant - that's what I would have said.

Good point. The press at my gym has a 300 pound stack on it. The DB just go to 120. More weight on the machine for me.

I don't really cares what looks ridiculous in the gym, as long as I get results, you know. Give them a try.

Peace.

Thanks Corn and GYM did you happen to see the part in which i said ill be posting a new tip everyweek on this thread, now i have 8 pages of your cockfight ;)

Just thought I'd point out the fact that just because there is 300lbs of plates in the machine doesn't necessarily mean that is how much weight you are going to be holding in your hands. After you consider the pulleys and the leverage torque forces its probably a bit less than the 300lbs. Just thought I'd mention that. :)
