Ladies I need some advice from you. I have met a really nice girl and we have started dating. She has expressed an interest in working out and correcting her diet. I don't think that she has been in the gym for quite a while and her diet is probably as bad as anyone else in the US.

The girl is very lean, she only weighs 105 @ 5'4" or so. She has told me that she would like to gain 10 lbs or so. She said that she doesn't mind eating 5 or 6 times a day. She doesn't like fish or plain chicken breasts though. That is why I am having a hard time designing a diet for her. I will use lean beef as a staple in her diet, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for her.

Any MRP's??? Flaxoil??? What exaclty do you women eat!:D

So, make unplain chicken. There are lots of marinades and sauces she can use. Eggs, too. Pork is so lean today there's no flavor. She can stirfry it.. as she can tofu.

I don't count canned tuna as fish, myself.

I eat flax seed meal in yogurt and in cottage cheese for my flax.

Not to be a crank (oh, why not?) but I have trouble with grownups who are picky eaters. If you work her enough in the gym, and she gets hungry enough, I'll bet she'll eat all sorts of things she thinks she doesn't like.

in addition to marinades and sauces, there are tons of sodium-free seasonings out there to jazz things up. mrs. dash has a ton of them in all different varieties...extra spicy, lemon pepper, dill, etc.

I like spatts bulking diet. I think that I will try to get her to use that for a little while.

She said that she likes fried chicken so if I can get the Colonel's Secret Recipe maybe I can get her to eat some chicken.

Oh shut up, CRANK!!!! :D

I'm picky and I LOVE food. I just CAN'T choke down yucky stuff. But even picky eaters (well, most of us) can have healthful diets if they're willing to learn how to cook and how to experiment with new foods.

No one HAS to eat plain chicken breasts. Tell her to buy a good cookbook. Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything is a great place to start for basic recipes and techniques. My favorite basic broiled chicken breast recipe is from that book. She should also check out www.penzeys.com . I'm lucky enough to live across the street from one of their shops. They have great spice blends (some of them salt-free) that can quickly jazz up otherwise bland cuts of meat. Also, Lemon and lime juice do WONDERS for chicken and fish - they tenderize and add flavor.

I don't have to and you can't make me, nyah,m nyah, nyah. .
Anyway, like I said and you said, and a buncha other people said, she doesn't have to eat yucky food.
