Smith Machine

Does anybody know where I can locate some of the arguments against the smith machine and its value. I searched through the archives and couldn’t find much, somebody mentioned Poloquin and Chek writing on this topic, any information would be greatly appreciated!

It has some benefits. I couldn't survive a leg workout without it.

Eh, works nicely as a towel rack.

It has its uses, I suppose, but none fit accordingly for me.

Guess I should clarify. A year ago, I would have never touched a Smith machine. Since my back is shot, I have since learned to like it. So it has it's uses.
