Shoulder problems

I'm a month into my sus/eq cycle and I just started experiencing shoulder pain and especially upon awakening in the morning. It's not severe pain but its a little noticeable while lifting and with some arm movements. I also wake up randomly throughout the night coz of pain from sleeping on my shoulder. I have full range of motion but it feels a bit weak. I plan on resting it for a week but I'm wondering wat to do with the cycle I'm running.

My questions are,

Can I keep going with the cycle and work on cardio and light weight?

And anyone with these symptoms of shoulder pain? And how serious it may be? Or how long it usually takes to heal?

Thank u everyone in advance.

get an anti-inflammatory gel and use it a couple of times a day.

you can also ice it after training. use lighter weights and give it achance to heal ...dont aggrivate the injury by pushing thru the pain.

steer clear of dips and any other excercise that brings on the sharp pain.

use this period to hit your legs hard so you stay motivated.

I'm thinking the cause was flat bench pressing, since the only pain feeling comes from chest exercises.
Thanks guys for the info, very helpful and legs it is.

I have the same problem!! My shoulders feel like they're completely shot to shit the past few weeks. The only shoulder workouts I can do is shoulder press on the smith machine and db presses. Can't do any laterals or cables without pain. I also feel it when I do bench as well. My chest has always consisted of db's but I tried bench the other day and felt like a puss tryin to rep 275, it hurt so bad it was a struggle... Anti inflamatory's help too! A massage is nice also!!

Mine is strictly isolated in the front delts so dips don't bother me a bit!! Just front lateral raises and bench press.

Same here. It's in the front of the shoulder and did dips yesterday with no pain. I was told that some ppl bench using a lot of shoulders. It makes sense when benching over 300. It's too heavy.
Eventhough its a very small problem I think that as long as its a noticeable feeling then lay off it. The possibility of a more serious injury is high. And btw the anti inflamatories do help but also deceiving .. so be careful
