shoulder Problems?

New member
I have had some problems with my shoulder for some time.. My therapist has been making me do rotator cuff exercises for some time but it is not getting any better. I have loose ligaments and it seems that these exercises are supposed to tighten up the muscles surrounding the shoulder to keep it more stable. I do my exercises everyday but it isn't helping. The whole right side of my body is weaker than my left side as a result. It is also my weaker side as is because I am a lefty. does anyone with this type of experience have any advice. While I was ON sustanon it did not bother me at all but now I am natural and it hurts like fuck. I want to avoid surgery since my doctor doesn't think it is neccessary, but I can't keep growing disproportionately. My right bicep is being effected as well because the bicep tendon runs right into the shoulder...Any advice is appreciated
:chainsaw:

I want to cut it off!

Bump this....I don't have any great advice...but we need some here.

My standard reply to stuff like this includes the following disclaimer: I have no medical training. I can only share my experience so take that for what it's worth.

Now, how long has this been going on? The only shoulder/rotator cuff injury I had took forfuckingever to heal. The only advice I can offer is to keep doing what you're doing. It will take a while. It was four or five months before I was back to normal.

Keep working it with the lighter wieghts and for Christ sake don't overdo it! If you re-injure it, it may never get back to normal.

I had this same problem. I did rotator cuff exercises and worked out with light weights, and then it went away after awhile. Also, playing golf for me made it worse, so I didn't play until it was better. Just don't overwork it or try to work through it, it will only get worse!

take time off
warm up
don't do any laterals above 80 degrees
take gluc chron sul
take naproxen (aleve) if inflamation occures
ohhh yea... see a dr, that usually helps

I get this recurring problem as well w/ the shoulder. I have to warm up reeeeeeeeally good. Like jogging on treadmill for few minutes to loosen up the shoulders, followed by lots of rotator cuff exercises to get all the blood and warmth going to the joint. Then i can start to lift. Any sooner and i'm going to run into lots of problems. I'd also say stay away from exercises that hurt! It will only get worse. So if you're confined to dumbell raises or w/e then stick to that till it heals. It sucks but you just have to wait some of these things out.
