shoulder injury=sabaticle

hey guys, just wanted to let you know that it's sabaticle time. after saturday's shoulder injury i've decided to take time off after two years of straight training. don't know how long i'll be out, but one can expect that in time i'll be back bigger and stronger. don't let your guard down!

anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts on some things before i go. never underestimate strengthening exercises..take good care of your rotators. always take time off when you least need it..believe me, it helps (or would've in my case). listen to your body because only it will know when to back off in training....don't ignore it.

i say these things because i speak from experience. i wish that i had followed these simple rules. but, you know what they say," if you dance to the music you'll have to pay the piper." hopefully one will read this and decide to listen before it's too late.

anyway, just wanted to write something before i left. you guys on the board (you know who you are) have been great in motivation and advice. keep it going, guys!

Be smart...Listen to your body, it's your only reliable source.
 
sounds like you are listening to your body well my friend...get better and come back STRONG! I am taking a mini-break myself...burned out...
