Shoulder Impingement

I am not 100% sure, but I think I have a mild case of shoulder impingement. A while back, I hurt my right rotator cuff. While I have done this several times with both sides, it did not heal 100% like it has before. The rotator pain, for the most part has gone away, but there is still a nagging feeling in my shoulder that has not gone away after 2 months of rest. It doesnt directly hurt to move my arm in any motion or do something light like a push up, but it gets some momentary swelling after a movement, and at random times during the day even with no activity. Already tried the traditional rotator exercises and rehab lifts with no success. Any one else agree on what I have and had the same thing?

I have had a odd shoulder or rotator cuff injury for about 3 months now. All began on a inclined bench press with dumbells while getting the weights into position with my right shoulder at first I could barly move my right arm behind my back but it gradually was easier to reach behind my back I only ever noticed it was there when my arm was in a certain position usually shoulder press only at certain angles and moving inclined dumbells into position for bench press, it never effected regular shoulder presses any other lateral raises or shoulder work or even a barbell bench press or inclined barbell bench press.... Only now 3 months later does it feel like it is almost 100% gone what I started doing was facepull w/rope for my shoulders and external rotations and I made sure I focused a lot on my back because I was neglecting it just a little more then I was my chest. I was praying I don't have to go get xrays etc and I hope I won't have to... I wish I knew more about shoulders to help ya out but hopefully someone might have some advice..

Oh I also started doing sleeper stretches and behind the back with one of those big rubber gym band thingys (grab it about shoulder width apart double it up if you need to and basically start a reverse jump rope motion with it till your arms are both behind your back)

You guyz both really need to check out DieselCrew.com.
When you go there type Shoulder Rehab in the search box.
These guyz really have a lot to offer and its free. This did me a world of good. Also the reverse jump rope thing is also called Shoulder dislocates, and they are great for impingment, probably the single best thing that you can do.
I dont know if you are or not but start them in front of you arms hanging straight down. Keep your elbows locked at all times, then go over your head and down to where your arms are straight down again but behind you now. And be GENTLE with yourself on this one. You need to a min of 40 reps per day everyday with these to get the benefit.
Also using something stretchy stiff as opposed to soft stretchy is really good.
Best of luck to both of you.:)
