Yes! Absolutely. Cardio is always a good idea. It will help keep you lean and it's very good to keep your heart healthy and keep your cholesterol levels in check.

I don't like running as a form of cardio because it puts a lot of stress on the knees. My favourite form of cardio is the step mill. The rower is my second favourite choice.

I would add in 3-4 cardio sessions per week of around 30 minutes. You don't need to get overly scientific with your heart rate of anything like that. Just make sure to work up a sweat.

there are several great running ideas you can incorporate into your training and with fall here now is the time to run

1. 1 mile tempo runs. these are great.. set a goal for yourself and then try and improve it week by week.

2. LSD- long slow distance.. this simply means running for 30-40 minutes at a slow speed

3. interval or HIT- i don't like these because they tend to not mix well with weight training of the legs. this is where you sprint then jog in intervals .. do these less often

You definitely should incorporate cardio training to your split, no matter the BF% that you have. After all, this is the only effective way of training your heart, and as you should already know that - this is a crucial organ, so you need to keep it as healthy as possible.
